Mother's Day drama as firefighters save Yorkshire mum who became trapped in a laundry basket in time for lunch with her daughter
North Yorkshire firefighters have saved Mother's Day for a Selby family after an unfortunate incident involving an elderly woman.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "Selby crew responded to a police request to assist with an elderly mum who had fallen into a laundry basket and become trapped. Bolt cutters used to open locked door for her carer outside. Female's predicament ironed out and comfort given, with Mum freed for lunch with daughter."
