Curtis Ross-Cullum, 23, of Grimsby, will be the Lord
Mayor of the Leeds Festival after voters backed him for the position following the
publication of his Musical Manifesto.

Organisers estimate 150,000 people saw more than 900 performances the Tramlines festival in Sheffield over the weekend.

Festival director Sarah Nulty said: “We know that this year we had a lot more people from outside of the city visiting Sheffield especially for Tramlines.

“We want those people, and others, to come back for the other 51 weeks of the year too.”
