I WONDER what it costs RBS (and hence we taxpayers) for their sponsorship of the Six Nations Rugby Union tournament?
I also wonder what is the commercial justification for this no doubt substantial sum.

If it could be established that Jack the Ripper was on board the Titanic, it would be a case of hold the front page.

NOT a new subject I know, but could Tesco please comment on the following observation?
Last Tuesday leaving Thirsk, we noticed petrol prices at Tesco at 138.9 (since risen to 139.9) but arriving in York the price was only 134.9.
Perhaps Tesco could tell us the reason for this. Surely it should have been the same price with stations just 20 miles apart?
