Career politicians like Balls face lack of trust and credibility

SO Ed Balls now decides that he has to listen to voters about the overwhelming immigration this country is suffering.

A bit rich coming from a man who when in government happily followed Labour’s policy of filling the country with immigrants to get the votes to stay in power.

If anyone believes he will do something to stem the immigration tide should his party get back into power, 
there will be nice padded cells available for you to spend the new year in.

He probably doesn’t even 
care about the problem, it 
isn’t a problem where he lives, but he is desperate to get re-elected to keep the money 
rolling in.

Who will trust a man who, after five years, is still in denial about his role in the ruination of this country’s economy and like most career politicians will promise anything to get into power and then renege without a moments thought?

SHADOW Chancellor Ed Balls stated that the Chancellor faced a “credibility problem” (The Yorkshire Post, January 3).

But surely Mr Balls must have been looking in the mirror to spout such nonsense?

how will David Cameron drive on to the road ahead, when he is now stranded at the bottom of a steep hill (The Yorkshire Post, January 3)?

He has failed on the NHS, poverty, immigration, pensioners, education, pot holes, swingeing rail fares, being a creep to the EU and supporter of funding corrupt dictators. At the moment the Prime Minister is trying to drive on flat tyres, before he beats inflation.

THE leadership of Ukip are deluding themselves into thinking they will only win a handful of seats.

We are the facing the real possibility that a couple of hundred relatively unknown Ukip candidates are about to 
be elected to the Commons as Ukip MPs.

Their cause is that popular. Nigel Farage is riding a runaway horse.

We can avoid uncertainty, instability and potential chaos on the stock market if David Cameron holds a European referendum now.
