New Flower Show director
Nick Smith, the new Show Director for Harrogate Flower Shows, took over the planning for Britain’s biggest independent gardening event at the Great Yorkshire Showground, in Harrogate, yesterday.
Mr Smith, 35, has a background in landscape architecture, design and management and joined Stockton Borough Council as a project manager in 2008, before taking on the role of development manager, responsible for the £8m redevelopment of the Teesside authority’s Preston Park Museum and grounds.
