Mrs Irene Haslam of Walton has passed away at Chatsworth Lodge Care Home, aged 83 years. Irene was born in Chesterfield and was a lifelong local resident. Working in the office at Chesterfield Co-operative Society for many years until her retirement about 30 years ago.Irene was Troop Leader and Commissioner with the Girl Guides. She was a member of an Art Club in Chesterfield, regularly attender at Barlow Church.Irene was wife to the late Kenneth Haslam . She was survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.The funeral service is due to take place on Tuesday April 25th 2017 at Barlow Parish Church, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.Funeral Directors : B.Hattersley & Sons Ltd, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield.
