Milestone for town’s fundraisers
Members of the charity’s group in Bawtry, near Doncaster, reached the milestone achievement this month after 23 years of effort and have now been congratulated by the BHF’s chief executive Peter Hollins.
He said: “I would like to thank the members of the Bawtry branch of the BHF both past and present for their 23 years of commitment to raise funds to beat heart disease.

Branch chairman Derek Spence said: “I would like to pay tribute to all those people who have worked so hard during the past 23 years.”
