Michael Jackson track leaked on net 'genuine'

The American Woman singer issued a video statement saying the track was 90 seconds of unmixed material he wrote,

produced and recorded with Jackson before his death last June.

But he said he had no knowledge of the DJ introduction to the beginning of the unfinished track, called Another Day.

Kravitz said: "As you know and have heard, the song – or part of the song – leaked, not by me because mine has been locked up in a vault since we recorded it."

He added: "The DJ who's speaking over the track – I don't know who that person is, I don't know how they obtained it. I don't know what their purpose is but that person has nothing to do with the track."
