Memorial plaque unveiled for soldier, 19, killed during first tour of Afghanistan
Parents Angela and Mark were joined by civic dignitaries, members of his regiment, the Royal British Legion, Sea, Army and Air cadets, members of Upton Rugby Club and other friends for a march and service.
The service and blessing of the plaque was carried out by the Rev Derek Mathers, Rector of Badsworth.

Hide AdRifleman Farmer, who served with the 3rd Battalion, The Rifles, was killed while on patrol in Helmand province.
At the time of his death Mr Farmer paid tribute to his son describing how he was the "proudest dad" at seeing him join the Army.
Rifleman Farmer, from Pontefract, had only joined the Army in 2008 and was on his first tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Relatives described him as an avid rugby league player and outstanding athlete .
