Lit event adds chapter
THE seventh annual Headingley LitFest will take place next month.
The three-week event, which began in 2008, is run by the Headingley Network – a community organisation that tries to improve the environment and facilities for the local community.
LitFest is run by a group of local residents and aims to engage audiences in the celebration of literature and the spoken word.
The events run from March 10 to March 31.
Organiser Richard Wilcocks said: “We have got more events than ever before.”
