Leona Lewis in Scarborough date

POP star Leona Lewis will appear at Scarborough Open Air Theatre this summer.

The star, whose hits include Bleeding Love, will perform at the theatre on Friday, July 12.

The date will be one of two special live outdoor performances for the singer songwriter this summer, with the other performance forming part of Kew the Music 2013 – the summer concert season at the Royal Botanic Gardens in south-west London.

The singer has sold over 20 million records worldwide and has had nine top-10 hits in the UK. She first came to prominence after winning the third series of The X Factor in 2006.

Tickets, priced at £35 will go on sale at The Sands offices, Peasholm Gap, North Bay, Scarborough, from 8am on Monday, January 21, giving residents the chance to buy tickets from the offices before they go on general sale release.

Tickets will also be available from tourist information centres in Filey, Scarborough and Whitby.
