Legal challenge over NHS
A legal challenge to a Government White Paper on the National Health Service is to be held in the High Court next month.
Unison is seeking a judicial review into the White Paper, claiming the Government did not consult the public, a right it says is enshrined in law, before pressing ahead with massive changes to the way the NHS is run. A legal hearing will be heard on October 13 and 14.
