Judge calls attacker danger to women
The youngster, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was walking to an Asda store in Halifax when 22-year-old Mohammed Qadeer targeted her for the early morning attack.
Prosecutor Clare Larton told Bradford Crown Court yesterday Qadeer followed the terrified teenager through the streets and pursued her even after she changed her route and made a phone call pretending to meet someone.

There he pushed the schoolgirl against a wall and forced her to release her grip on her phone.
During the girl's ordeal Qadeer made threats to punch her and after he fled the scene she hid behind some bins before flagging down a passing police car.
By coincidence Qadeer, of Gibraltar Road, Halifax, appeared before Judge Jonathan Rose who last November imposed a community order on him for sexual assault on a woman.

Qadeer was arrested after robbing the schoolgirl in May when police viewed CCTV footage from the area.
Her phone was found at his home and last month he admitted the robbery charge at a preliminary court hearing.
Judge Rose jailed Qadeer for three years for the robbery and imposed an additional 18 months for the previous sexual assault.

The judge said the offence was committed while Qadeer was subject to a community order imposed for also targeting a lone woman. "It is apparent to me regarding these two cases that you are a danger to women."
