Insurance giants issue costs alert
Insurance giants Aviva and RSA have revealed the soaring cost of cover and warned consumers of further rises to come.
Aviva – the UK's biggest general insurer – said it had imposed "double digit" increases in motor premiums in the past six months, while also raising home insurance rates. More Than parent RSA said its motor rates went up 13 per cent.
