Information day on historic buildings

Speakers at the annual event will look at the characteristics of the historic buildings in the area, how they have developed over the years and how they are best cared for.

The day school is organised by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and will be held in the Memorial Hall in Dent on October 13 from 9.30am-5pm.

Other topics covered during the day will include design, repair, maintenance and energy sustainability issues as well as bats and building work. There will also be a guided walk through Dent to look at its architectural and historic features.
