Guitar teacher had sex with pupil, 15

David Green, 55, had regular sex with the girl during guitar lessons in his bedroom, while his wheelchair-bound wife was downstairs.

Green was eventually found out after the teenager's family became suspicious when her playing did not improve.

Nicholas Barker, prosecuting at Bradford Crown Court, said Green had sex with the girl at least every three days over a six-month period.

Mr Barker said that after two lessons Green kissed his pupil and began sending her suggestive texts. He then groomed her by giving her money and topped up her mobile phone regularly.

She said she went along with the affair because he was a father figure and she liked him.

Green, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to six offences of sexual activity with a child, making an indecent image of her and possessing four indecent photos of her. He also admitted five offences of downloading other child pornography on to his computer, including one video at the most serious level.

Green's solicitor advocate, Ray Singh, said he bitterly regretted his actions. His wife was divorcing him.

He was barred from unsupervised contact with children and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
