Grimsby stabbing: Grieving family who will never forgive murderer
CLAIRE WILSON'S family said they will never forgive Alan McMullan for the murder just over two months before she was due to give birth to her first child, whom she and her partner Adam Kennard had named April.
Her family stood together outside Hull Crown Court as Claire's father Stuart read a brief statement. He said: "April was a much anticipated daughter, granddaughter and niece and Claire was at her happiest when she was tragically taken from us by this monster.
"We will never forgive McMullan for what he chose to do, the nature of which shocked the world. We are the ones who are left with the life sentence and can only now imagine what a fantastic mum Claire would have been and how baby April would have grown up."
