Gang jailed for 20 years for reign of terror across Yorkshire estate
The group of five men were sentenced yesterday at Leeds Crown Court for robbery, violence and drug offences on the London Park Estate, Mirfield.
The court heard one flat on Eastway Park was targeted several times by the gang, with three people robbed while inside it in January this year.

“However, the sentences they have received today clearly show that no-one is above the law.
“We are pleased with the result.”
Nathan McCarthy, 25, of no fixed abode, was jailed for six years for robbery and six months for drugs offences, while Jamie Evans, 20, of Mitchell Avenue, Huddersfield, received three-and-a-half years for robbery.
