Ollie, a member of Lothersdale Young Farmers’ Club, fought off strong competition from agriculture students from across the country to reach the final of the award, which is run by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers.

Ollie works on the family dairy farm alongside his studies at Bishop Burton College and he is due to graduate this summer.

Becky Waring, Ollie’s course manager at Bishop Burton College, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that Ollie has already done so well in this competition.”
