Elderly to suffer badly in cuts
Vulnerable pensioners are set to lose thousands of pounds' worth of services every year as a result of spending cuts.
Age UK – formerly Age Concern and Help the Aged – says the average household with someone over the age of 75 will lose 2,200 in support by 2014/15. It says the the poorest pensioners will be hardest hit.
