Eight children hurt in Wakefield bus crash
AT least eight children are believed to have suffered minor injuries in a bus crash in Wakefield this morning.
The single deck bus is believed to have skidded on ice before hitting a traffic island in Hollingthorpe Lane, Hall Green.
An ambulance crew was sent to the scene of the accident.
Some of the youngsters who were hurt were reported to have suffered whiplash injuries.
The driver of the bus - believed to be a regular service - was thought uninjured .
