More complaints over police chief’s email

Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright yesterday announced he had received further complaints from a firm of solicitors in Liverpool about the same message.
He said he had referred them to Chief Constable Simon Parr of Cambridgeshire Constabulary, who is already looking into the email, and the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
The IPCC concluded in February that the email had “serious implications for public confidence” but referred the matter back to Mr Wright.
