Man killed after being hit by car in Keighley named by police

A man who was killed after being hit by a car in Keighley has been named by police

David Follon, 56 who lived in Keighley, was walking along Fell Lane when he was hit by the car on Sunday, September 4.

A silver Toyota Yaris hit Mr Follon at the junction with Oakworth Road at about 2.25am.

Mr Follon was taken to hospital and but died a short time later.

West Yorkshire Police are investigating the incident.

The force has appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash or the movement of the vehicle or pedestrian immediately prior to it, to contact them on log 101, quoting reference 13220487388.

Anyone who has dash cam footage that may assist is also encouraged to make contact with the team.
