Man appears in court charged with the murder of 17-year-old Connor Lyons in Hull

The body of Connor Lyons was discovered on an embankment near Ennerdale, close to the River Hull, last Tuesday.

Cole Jarvis, 21, of Stroud Crescent West, Hull, appeared via a video link at Hull Crown Court earlier today.

Jarvis spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

No plea was entered.

Jarvis was remanded into custody.

He will next appear in court on April 12.

A provisional trial date has been set for September 12.
