THE murder trial of two West Yorkshire men accused of stabbing to death a teenager has been adjourned.

Anthony Driver, 36, and Luke Elliott, 21, both of Huddersfield, appeared in the dock at Leeds Crown Court accused of killing 19-year-old Craig Hepburn, from Linwood, Renfrewshire.

He was visiting family when he was stabbed to death in Marsden near Huddersfield on July 7 this year.

The two have pleaded not guilty and were scheduled to go on trial this week but for legal reasons this has been adjourned until April 29 next year.

Driver and Elliott also deny the attempted murder of Craig’s friend, Conor Paton.

The trial in April is scheduled to last three weeks.

Judge Peter Collier QC remanded both men in custody until January 4, to appear at Leeds Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing.
