“He told me to get in. I said I would walk.
“When we got to his house I said I would sit and wait for him but he said ‘no, I’m going to be a while’.
“In the house he called me into the kitchen.
“He pushed me up against the cupboard. He started kissing my neck and started rubbing my earlobe.

“His breath when he started to kiss me smelt of stale smoke.
“I tried to push him away but he carried on.

Describing an incident where Martin allegedly sexually assaulted her when she was aged just nine or ten, the woman said he tried to kiss her on the lips but she “closed my mouth as tight as I could.”
Martin is also accused of groping another girl after calling at her house while on door-to-door duties looking for a missing boy.
He is alleged to have hugged her tightly, rubbing her breasts in the process, while he spoke to her parents in the middle of carrying out his door-to-door inquiries.
