'Beautiful' Libby Squire was not a target for 'easy sex' Polish butcher insists as he admits he considered taking her to police station but didn't because of his 'poor English'
Pawel Relowicz, 26, also revealed he had considered taking Miss Squire, who he agreed was "crying, had hypothermia and injured" when he picked her up off the street in the early hours of February 1, 2019, to a police station but didn't because of he didn't speak much English.
Relowicz previously told a jury at Sheffield Crown Court he had a sex addiction and was looking for easy sex on the night Miss Squire disappeared. He claims the pair had consensual sex, before he left her on Oak Road,Hull, never to see her again.

On his cross examination of Relowicz, Richard Wright QC said: “She was a target for easy sex, the easy sex you was looking for wasn’t she?"
"You chose to take her to Oak Road didn’t you? Because you knew it well and knew it was a good place to rape her didn’t you?
"In the course of raping her you killed her didn’t you?
"You were responsible for her entering the water wasn’t you?”

Hide AdRelowicz also said he had considered taking Miss Squire, a philosophy student originally from Buckinghamshire, to a police station but didn't because of his English.
"I didn't go because I don't speak English and it would be my first time at a police station so what would I be able to explain for that, I only know simple words," he said.
He also said he didn't know for sure if the woman he had sex with was in fact the woman who had been reported missing to police.
Mr Wright accused Relowicz of making a "deliberate decision" to tell lies to the police after he did not mention having sex with Miss Squire.

Hide AdRelowicz said: “It was not. I had two children and a wife and I did not want her to find out I’d cheated. I didn’t kill her, I didn’t rape her and I left that where I left that.”
Mr Wright said: “Did you think you didn’t have to tell them that because you knew she was dead and in the river so you would never have to tell them you had consensual sex with her because you knew she would never come forward as a witness?”
Relowicz said: “That’s not true.”
He said: “That’s not true.”
Mr Wright said: “Just as you had a bath and washed your clothes you thought if they found her body they’d never know you had sex with her.”
Mr Wright also alleged that Relowicz's previous voyeurism offences, committed just days before Miss Squire disappeared, were not enough to "satisfy him".

Relowicz responded: "That is not correct."
"Were your sexual urges increasing that January? Was your ability to control those urges decreasing?”
Relowicz said: “It was the same.”
Mr Wright said: “If it hadn’t have been Libby Squire Mr Relowicz it would have been someone else because this was just the opportunity you were looking for.”
Relowicz said: "That is not correct."
