Three FPNs were also issued to a business in Beverley, which was continuing to trade despite lockdown.

Another business owner was fined who attended a client’s property to work in Market Weighton.

And two fines were given out in Goole after a fight involving two men.

Assistant Chief Constable Chris Noble said the majority were abiding by the rules, but some people had "flagrantly breached" the Covid-19 regulations.

He said: "Unfortunately, this weekend has shown that some have blatantly, recklessly and selfishly breached these regulations and enforcement has been necessary. We will not hesitate to move to enforcement in these circumstances.

The latest coronavirus regulations in England, which came into force at 5pm on Friday, include fines of £800 for people caught at house parties with groups of more than 15 people and will double after each offence, up to a maximum of £6,400 for repeat offenders.
