Crews rush to Skipton kitchen fire

Crews rushed to a fire in a kitchen at a Skipton home last night.

North Yorkshire Fire and Resuce Service yesterday said that they were called to Belle Vue Terrace, Broughton Road, shortly before 10.20pm on Wednesday.

A spokesperson said the fire started in kitchen and was confined to a chair. Bucket of water were to extinguish the fire and no people were injured.

Two “appliances” from Skipton attended.
