To celebrate, tourism group Welcome to Yorkshire is offering Leeds residents free trips on both the bus and boat tomorrow and Sunday.

The trips offer visitors the chance to learn about the history of Leeds and to further explore the city.

The distinctive open top double-decker bus offers a "hop on, hop off" sightseeing service. The five-mile route includes Millennium Square, the Corn Exchange and Victoria Quarter.

Leeds City Cruises takes visitors along the Leeds waterways historical route from Clarence Dock to Brewery Wharf and on to Granary Wharf.
