Champion slimmer lands job as PE teacher
Amy Richardson’s staggering yet gradual weight loss has earned her the title of Slimming World’s Miss Slinky.
And she has earned a job as a PE teacher in her home town of Halifax, West Yorkshire – something she thought she would never have a chance to do before she dropped to around 11 stone (70kg).

“My mum joined Slimming World and I decided it was time to see if it would work for me.
“If I hadn’t have lost the weight I don’t think anyone would have wanted to employ me as a PE teacher.
“Hopefully I am setting the right example now.”
She said she entered the competition because she wanted to “inspire” other people into losing weight.
