Actor rakes in wizard earnings

The 21-year-old heads a trio of Hogwarts stalwarts in the top four of the study while the list is dominated by women.

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, and Rupert Grint, Ron Weasley in the hit movies, filled third and fourth in the Heat magazine research.

Radcliffe is estimated to have pocketed 25m for the two Deathly Hallows films, the first of which broke five UK box office records on its release this month. The second follows next year.

Emma, 20, a successful "spokesmodel" for fashion brand Burberry, is estimated to have earnings in excess of 20.6m and is the youngest person on the list.

Grint is thought to be worth 19m but has admitted to splashing his earnings on vehicles including an ice-cream van and a hovercraft.
