Customers have enjoyed the popular Emma Mellor Handmade Rugs showroom in York for the past eight years – but had asked Emma to open a showroom closer to their Harrogate homes.

Emma explained: “I was buying a tin of Farrow & Ball in Harrogate and saw this shop space across the road. I literally still had the pot of paint in my hand when I first viewed it!”

That was only just over a month ago and now Emma has moved into the new showroom and opened it for customers five days a week.
