Clean passion fruit and pineapple flavours in this unoaked wine from high altitude vineyards in Mendoza. Good on its own as an aperitif, but great with creamy pasta and chicken.

Tesco Finest Tapiwey Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2010, down from 8.99 to two bottles for 10, until February 1.

Bright, zesty, minerally fruit from excellent producer Via Ventisquero. Stock up and drink it through the summer.

Terres de Galets Ctes du Rhne 2009, Sainsbury, down from 9.99 to 4.99 until February 8.

Challenged at its full price, this easily hits its comfort zone on offer, with ripe, rounded fruit and a touch of warming peppery spice. It won't come to any harm if you keep it a while, so stock up now.

Bo Bo Pinot Noir 2009, Chile, Marks and Spencer down from 8.99 to 6.99 until January 30.

From the extreme south of Chile, this crisp, raspberry-edged Pinot packs a perfect balance of sunshine and crisp acidity. Drink with lamb, chicken and soft cheese.
