Top awards are fast approaching

Some of the biggest names in the region’s corporate world have been invited to the Yorkshire Fastest 50 awards, which will be held at Aspire in Leeds on Friday.

Representatives of the Yorkshire Fastest 50 companies and key members of the region’s business community will be in attendance when the awards are announced.

The event is sponsored and organised by top 100 UK law firm Ward Hadaway in partnership with the Yorkshire Post.

Jamie Martin, managing partner at Ward Hadaway, said: “Last year’s inaugural Yorkshire Fastest 50 was a great success.”

On Friday, awards will be given to the fastest growing small, medium and large companies in the region. An overall award will also be handed to Yorkshire’s fastest growing business of the year.

Gary Verity, the chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, will be the keynote speaker.

Yorkshire Post business editor Bernard Ginns will introduce the proceedings.

There will also be a special supplement celebrating the Yorkshire Fastest 50 2012 in next week’s Business Tuesday.
