Teachers’ scores with £73.1m bid for Goals Soccer Centres
Goals Soccer Centres has fared relatively well throughout the recession despite the squeeze on consumer spending.
Goals grew pre-tax profits 21 per cent to £9.1m in 2011 on revenues up nine per cent to £30.4m Its underlying profit margin was up one per cent to 45 per cent.
Teachers’ Private Capital (TPC) said it was attracted by its “relatively stable financial performance and continued growth”.
