Progeny announces plans to acquire Carbon Financial Partners as part of expansion strategy

The Yorkshire-based professional services firm, Progeny, has announced plans to acquire the Scottish chartered financial advice firm, Carbon Financial Partners.

The proposed deal will add £600m to Progeny’s assets under management.

Carbon Financial Partners has a team of 45 staff across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Perth.

A team from global law firm Squire Patton Boggs acted as legal adviser to Progeny during the deal.
