Produmax to make a precise move

Precision engineering firm Produmax is to move its headquarters to a modern industrial building at a new business park.

The firm, which manufactures parts for customers in aerospace, telecoms and medical devices, will relocate 44 staff from its headquarters at Otley and a temporary unit in Yeadon to Baildon Business Park in Bradford.

Managing director Jeremy Ridyard said: “This is the first step in a 10-year expansion programme for Produmax.”

The Produmax move was confirmed after planning permission for the first 28,000 sq ft unit was granted by Bradford Council. Produmax has secured a £600,000 grant from the Regional Growth Fund. Construction is due to start next month and complete by December.

The £15m high tech park is being delivered by Pendle Russells, a joint venture between Russells Construction and Pendle Projects.
