Products firm celebrates after signing contract

A YORKSHIRE building products firm is poised for growth after securing a major deal with a national builders merchants' group.

Leeds-based Everbuild Building Products has secured a UK-wide agreement with National Buying Group (NBG) to become a preferred supplier of building chemicals, adhesives and sealants to the organisation's network of independent builders merchants.

The agreement, which will see Everbuild replacing Bostik as the main supplier of building chemicals to NBG members, is worth in the region of 3m in new business.

NBG has 77 member companies, which have a collective turnover of more than 750m.

Everbuild's agreement, which is for 2010 and 2011, includes the supply of the company's Feb, Aquaseal, Everbuild, Geo-Fix, Opti-Mix and Kwikgrip product ranges, which are manufactured at its factory on the Cross Green Industrial Estate, in Leeds.

Everbuild is the UK and Ireland's largest independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives, fillers and building chemicals. The company is a leading supplier to builders merchants and construction industry distributors.
