What was your first job?

I worked in a call centre doing market research for nappy companies.

If not in your present job, what would you like to do?

When I was younger I had dreams of being a professional footballer.

What was your worst mistake?

Whilst working with King Sturge on work experience at the age of 21, I tried to bleach my own hair with the result being a canary yellow colour.

What would be your ideal day away from the office?

If the sun was shining I would enjoy a day at York races.

Richard Branson – he seems to see no boundaries when it comes to business

What was your best subject at school?

Geography

What would you do if you won the Lotto?

Not tell anyone.

What is your top time-saving tip?

Move to the city centre. I think as time goes on and the price of fuel rises, it makes sense to live closer to where you work.

What is your favourite time of the day?

I’d have to say early evening at the moment. The weather has been good to us.

What is your favourite garment?

I recently bought a three-piece suit and I think it will be the first of many.

What is the best thing about being in Yorkshire?

Fish and chips.

What would your epitaph be?

I would hope that it will be something positive and reflecting a happy and successful life.
