Mild weather boosts Vp
Equipment hire firm Vp said it traded well through the winter, boosted by relatively mild weather conditions.
The Harrogate-based firm said customer demand has picked up steadily through the early part of 2015.
It said the construction, housebuilding and infrastructure sectors remain strong, although the board anticipates a “limited impact” on the group’s oil and gas related activities following the recent reduction in global oil prices.
Despite this the group said it is trading well and it should deliver full year results ahead of current market expectations for the year to March 31.
