Keepmoat lands £16.8m contract

The company’s repairs and maintenance division, Keepmoat Property Services, has been selected for a £2.1m per year contract with Leeds Federated Housing Association, a social housing provider which operates across Leeds, Harrogate and Wakefield. The eight year agreement, which was secured following a competitive tender process, will see the company deliver all responsive maintenance and emergency repair support to 4,000 homes across the region. This will include all out-of-hours emergency and void property works. The contract win builds on the company’s existing work with Leeds Federated Housing Association, which started in 2007 and includes a dedicated call centre service.

Helen Francis, business development director at Keepmoat Property Services, said: “This was a highly competitive re-tender process, and our success is testament to the high quality service that we offer residents across the region.”

Keepmoat Property Services is responsible for maintaining more than 102,000 homes nationally.

In September last year, Keepmoat was sold to private equity giants Sun Capital and former Pizza Express owner TDR Capital for around £400m. The Doncaster-based firm was sold by Lloyds Banking Group, which became a shareholder following the refinancing of the group in 2012.

Keepmoat, which recently broke the £1bn turnover barrier, has 22 regional offices and employs more than 3,000 people across the UK.
