ITM achieves patents for Europe and Japan
The Sheffield-based firm said that creation and protection of relevant intellectual property remains central to its development strategy.
It also announced the launch of its Hfuel vehicle refueller and the demonstration of two hydrogen internal combustion engine Ford Transit vans from Revolve Technologies.

Hide AdThe company said that seven companies and local authorities have already signed up to its Hydrogen On Site Trials (HOST) and the H-Fuel, which are the first step towards attracting high profile commercial and government customers for the technology.
ITM is working towards CE certification for its products to enable their commercial sale in European markets.
The company said that it retains significant cash reserves of 16.9m to fund commercialisation, which it said will be supplemented by a grant of more than 500,000 from Government bodies including the Technology Strategy Board to support its HydroGEN project to reduce the cost of alkaline membranes.
ITM has also secured additional grant and research funding of 935,000, which will be received over the next 18 months.
