Hentons’ HQ move a ‘statement of intent’

ACCOUNTANCY firm Hentons has invested in new city centre headquarters after acquiring the offices of a law firm which went into administration during the recession.

The company bought the 22,000 sq ft Northgate office for an undisclosed sum. It will rent out 12,000 sq ft of space.

Fox Hayes occupied the building until it went into administration in 2009. Hentons bought it from administrators Begbies Traynor.

As one of Leeds leading independent firms of chartered accountants, our aim is to become a leading player in the SME and mid-market sector in the region and we are making significant investments in new talent that will grow the expertise we can provide across all industry sectors and the range of services we can provide for companies.

“We are excited to be part of the significant investment and changes that are taking place in the Arena Quarter of Leeds.”

Northgate has undergone a major refurbishment to create open plan offices and a new reception. It also has 40 underground secure car parking spaces. The remaining space is being marketed by DTZ.
