Harrogate care home creating 100 jobs marks milestone

A new multi-million pound care home, which will create 100 jobs when completed, has been officially topped out.

Graeme Lee, chief executive of Springfield Group, which is behind the project, was joined by Neil Silcock, of York contractor, Simpson, Sally Rasmussen, of Springfield Healthcare, and Joanna Hawkins-Spencer, of project manager, Projex Building Solutions, to celebrate the landmark event.

Due to open summer 2021, Harcourt Gardens in Harrogate will include nurse-led care residential, nursing and dementia care, close to The Stray.

Mr Lee said: “I’m very proud and excited to be adding Harcourt Gardens, Harrogate – our sixth care home ­­– to the Springfield care home portfolio this summer.”
