Getech sees recovery trend continue

OIL exploration data firm Getech said it is encouraged by recent trading, and sales are back to levels seen before the recession.

The Leeds-based company said trading in the six months to the end of January showed a continuation of a recovery trend seen in the preceding 12 months. It has notched up its first sales from an Iraqi data marketing agreement, and also benefited from stronger global data sales.

Chief executive Raymond Wolfson said: “The strength of the oil price is encouraging and likely to underpin the demand for exploration data, studies and services with existing and new clients.”
