Fenner announces new non-exec director
POLYMER engineer Fenner said a new senior independent non-executive director will replace David Buttfield.
The Hessle, East Yorkshire-based group said Vanda Murray will replace Mr Buttfield at its annual shareholder meeting on January 11. Ms Murray has worked in the UK, Europe, USA and Asia and was awarded an OBE in 2002 for services to industry and export. She is currently a non-executive director of Carillion, Microgen, Vphase and Manchester Airport Group. Mr Buttfield will remain on the board as a non-executive director to “provide continuity”.
Chairman Mark Abrahams said: “We are delighted that Vanda has accepted the non-executive director position.”
