Fabulous night for Dransfield

The Absolutely Fabulous actress who led the emotive campaign to fight for the right of Gurkhas to remain in the UK is one of the guest speakers at an event tomorrow night to celebrate 20 years in business for a Barnsley property company.

Joanna Lumley OBE will be joined at the glittering event by Sir Howard Bernstein OBE, the man who helped Manchester emerge from its post-industrial past to become a northern economic powerhouse.

More than 120 guests are expected at the celebratory dinner for Dransfield Properties at the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield.

Mark Dransfield, managing director, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating our 20th anniversary here in South Yorkshire where our company is based and where the next two years will see us deliver our most ambitious development to date in Stocksbridge, North Sheffield.”

The company is behind plans for the £46m regeneration project at a former steelworks.
