Deal to see Delta have more Access

Access Group, the business software provider, has acquired Wakefield-based Delta Software in a £5.4m deal.

It’s the fifth acquisition completed by Access since a £50m buyout of the group in March last year.

Access said its acquisition of Delta marked an important step in its growth strategy, because it will add complementary software to its range of services.

Established more than 20 years ago, Access – which is backed by private equity firm Lyceum Capital – provides a range of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and services, with a focus on financial and supply chain management systems.

It supports more than 5,000 mid-sized and large corporate customers across a wide range of sectors, including Bloomsbury, Baker Tilly, Jamie Oliver and the National Museum of Science and Industry. The Colchester-based company employs more than 400 staff across 11 offices in the UK and Ireland. Delta supports more than 100 customers, predominantly in the logistics sector
