Bespoke jewellery designers in York: award-winning custom-made gold and diamond gifts made in Yorkshire

That is a very impressive achievement for WERK by TCJ Designs, an independent business which has thrived through good times and bad by offering unique pieces based upon one-of-a-kind gemstones.

These are created in the on- site workshop by the team of husband-and-wife Carl Johnson and Mandy Morris (maker and designer respectively) and goldsmith Robert Casson.

Typical of their creations is the three-carat yellow diamond korloff cut ring: watch the film showing how this was designed and made to mark their 35th anniversary.

As well as bespoke pieces, the trio also create ready-to-wear – but still unique – jewels, a fine collection of which is now on display in the window, making for excellent Christmas gifts.

WERK by TCJDesigns also offers a design and remodelling service to convert customers’ existing jewellery into something new and unique to them.

Once again, 2022 has seen a number of accolades coming the company’s way: at the Goldsmith Craft and Design Awards, held in London in May, for their Reflection earrings, while Mandy also received the prestigious international A’design award for her fish bangle, in a ceremony held at Lake Como, Italy.
